Raven Quinn is a singer, songwriter, recording artist, and visual artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Quinn's sophomore album Not in Vain will be released worldwide on October 7th, 2014. Quinn's self-titled debut album Raven Quinn was released digitally worldwide on her birthday, March 4th 2010 via all major digital music retailers.

Due to overwhelming support from an ever growing legion of followers, the debut skyrocketed to the number one position on Amazon's "Movers and Shakers" chart- which charts Amazon's fastest selling digital albums- and also held top 100 chart positions in Rock and MP3 albums in general, all within the first twelve hours of release. The success proved to be an unexpected victory and incredible birthday gift for the self-released indie artist.
The songs which appear on the disc, penned by Quinn and Juno Award winning producer & engineer Dan Brodbeck, range from dark and brooding goth rock tracks to light, ethereal, and angelic ballads. The album takes the listener on a very personal journey through Quinn's psyche and vividly illustrates the darkness and light that each of us experience in life and that we all harbor within ourselves, while featuring the enormous instrumental talents of some of Quinn's own childhood heroes: George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob, Souls of We) and Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, Poe).
Quinn and Brodbeck were first introduced by mutual friend and fellow artist/musician Dolores O'Riordan (The Cranberries) and the pairing proved to be quite a musical match, resulting in a continued creative connection. Since completion of Quinn's debut, Brodbeck resumed his role as producer and engineer for Quinn's sophomore effort Not In Vain. On October 31st, 2013, the first single and title track "Not In Vain" from the forthcoming album was released- and quickly became Quinn's best-selling digital song. "Not In Vain" showcases a surprisingly clear evolution -both sonically and artistically- when compared to the material on her self-titled debut album; yet the song unmistakably remains a "Raven Quinn" track from the very first listen. "Not In Vain" boasts a beautiful juxtaposition of heavy guitars, haunting piano, and driving percussion, bolstered by Quinn's signature blend of both ethereal and aggressive vocals; which are at their best here- specifically during the eerily haunting and almost mystical introduction that opens the track.

In addition to working on both Quinn's debut and forthcoming album, Brodbeck also co-wrote and produced Quinn's track "Catalyst" which was written and recorded for campaign use for Sprint/Clearwire, and ultimately was released for Rock Band 2 & 3, and for Rock Band Blitz.
Legendary music trade Hits Magazine has praised Quinn for bringing "an edge to the singer/songwriter genre", dubbed her a "rock goddess" and states that she is "an artist to watch." Other accomplishments also include Quinn's inclusion on the 2011 Grammy Award Ballot across multiple categories, the addition of three of her tracks (The Window, Decadence, and Catalyst) to Rock Band Network for the Rock Band video game series on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, and an artist sponsorship with Daisy Rock Guitars.

Although her first love and primary focus is music, Quinn is also a passionate visual artist. In 2012, she began making her original artwork available to the public through several successful art auctions, and eventually began taking commission requests in early 2013. In Summer of 2013, Quinn was hired by extremely talented author Becket (who is also the assistant to international best-selling author Anne Rice) to illustrate his enchanting children's novel KEY THE STEAMPUNK VAMPIRE GIRL AND THE DUNGEON OF DESPAIR. KEY was released October 25th, 2013 and very quickly rose to the number ten spot in the Top 100 Hot New Children's Releases chart on Amazon.com, as well as claiming the number one position in Children's Steampunk Books. Following the release of the first KEY book, Quinn and Becket teamed up for a second book in the KEY series entitled KEY THE STEAMPUNK VAMPIRE GIRL AND THE TOWER TOMB OF TIME (released February 2014). Quinn is currently illustrating Becket's forthcoming children's book GOOD THE GOBLIN QUEEN.

When she is not writing or in the studio recording new music, Quinn can inevitably be found working on her latest illustration.
